One has grey conn and the other blue (17). Can they still be networked? Also, can someone direct me to the thread that showed how to network without buying all accessories from lowrance. thanks.

Mainly I want to know if waypoints can be shared between the two units. I’m thinking of getting a 104. Thanks. mike

The only units you can network have to have blue or red NMEA connectors on the back of your unit. I had to buy the LCX-110 to network with my 2 X-17’s. If you purchase one with red connectors you need an adapter to hook up to the NMEA system. GOOD LUCK

Yes, you should be able to share the information between the 2 units. By hard wiring the communication wires together and setting the DATA ports accordingly.
