    If the chip says Dec. 2006, is this the newest version? Scheels is selling this chip and saying its the 2007 version. It also says it’s the premium chip and selling for $99. Does this seem right? Thanks for your help, Doug

    Here is the way you can tell if its a 06 chip or a 07 chip, the 07 will have a N3 on the chip and the 06 will have a N2 on it.

    Nope. If they’re selling it for $99 it’s not the 2007 chip, or someone really screwed up.

    And the above poster noted the best method for noting the year of the chip. ’06 is N2 and ’07 is N3 (as in Premium North, version 3).
