Eagle Intellimap software update

I purchased a 1 yr old Eagle Intellimap 502c recently and see there is a software update v1.7 to it on the Eagle Website. I downloaded the update to SD Card. I then placed the card in the mmc reader and turned on the unit. According to the website the update should occur automatically when you turn on the unit. After I turn it on and it does its thing I checked the software version on the unit and it did not update. Do I have to do something else? I am sure it downloaded on the card ok as when I look at the file on the computer it is named something with v1.7 on it. Any ideas?

i am having the same trouble trying to update a intellimap 480….. wade, any advice on what i am doing wrong. 10 to 1 it is operater error on my part…………………..tom fellegy

I just did an update on my 480 late last summer….just plug in the card and it went to the new rev.level!

I now have split screen plotting!! one for zoom and the other normal

I finally got mine to work last night. I originally downloaded using the “windows” option on the download. I downloaded it again last night using the Java Installer. It worked using the Java. I dont think all the files came across using the windows option.
