i just picked up a role of the suffix elite 8 lb hi vis this weekend, seems to be a pretty flexible line( not to much spring to it) just wondering how others liked it as i have never tried it before
    thanks

I put it on last fall.

So far I really like it. Get’s a little stiff in the very cold and thus holds a little memory but not really worth complaining about. Just a little bit more than what I appreciate. Again, when it is “bitter cold”. But so far I really like it!

I agree with what gary said. Good line but it sure seems to change in a hurry once it hits around 32 degrees out. But then again a lot of lines start acting up below freezing.

I’m tellin ya right now, that stuff is awesome!! I’ve bought many spools of it and really like it very well. It’s performed flawlessly for me, and it’s been replacing a bunch of my Stren. I do still like Stren….but I really like this stuff better so far.

Spooled some 6lb myself last week for the first time. My impression so far has been…….very strong, abrasion resistance is good, but is has a lot of stretch compared to the sensation . When I need to respool I am going back to the sensation . I like the solar sensation better . Just my opinion

    Dustin,
I spooled up some 8lb and really not much stretch there. Also diameter between 6 and 8 is about the same. You might want to give it a try?

Nope! I gave the Suffix a fair shake and have a new nick name for it…………the “rubber band line”
