thanks in advance
Corey
I gave one G3 model a quick glance at the show and was kind of surprised by some of the fit and finish on it. I remember looking at the bow eye and wondering why any boatbuilder would put out something that looked so shoddy.
Yes I have seen pics with mine coming next week. I think all will be surprized on the job they have done on this boat!! There will be a release coming real soon you might even reconize a few of the people in it This is going to be a big water WONDER. So stay tuned it won’t be long for all to see. Any ?s feel free to send me a PM.
Thanks Kevin

The 210 Just left the factory 2 are on the road now so you did not see a 210 at the show . You are here only to bash G3 with 16 post and no info in your Bio show your ture colors
Whoa there big fella,
I am not here to bash. I said that I gave one model a quick glance not the 210. The boat I looked at was in the front left corner of the G3 booth that was just inside the door of the boat show and the bow eye installation did indeed look shoddy. I said nothing else about the boat good or bad. I hope your bow eye comes out looking better than that one.
Corey,
Be sure to check with James. He’ll be puting a new G3 through some objective testing here soon.

That was a wrap boat there is not a prefect way to get the wrap to lay down around the eye. On a normal painted boat it is not an issue. If I offended you that was not my intention some time’s the post get side tracked from orininal post I did not want that to happen. So take a look at the 210 or a painted boat.
Great fishing to all!!!
I just saw the pics of the new Advantage 210. Wow!
Anyone can find something wrong with anything, regardless of the boat manufacturer. We are all quick to point out the shortcomings of boats that are not “Our” brand. But this boat is really sharp in my opinion. They took the advice of a lot of tournament anglers in 2006, and came out with a boat that is truly spectacular. The cockpit is a fisherman’s dream! Room to manuever and store “Stuff!” The rod locker in this boat is really nice! I lobbied for a locker where you could get to the bottom rods without having to take all the top rods out first. And they did! Stick, did I hear 9 foot rods fit in there?
Looking forward to a ride in one soon!

You know I was willing to overlook this post as a unbiased person giving their opinion. But the public should know that this poster has the same IP address of another who works at a competing boat dealership, and this IP address user uses a name than “Boatnut.”
Seriously, I have no issue with people standing up for their brand of choice. Chevy, Ford, Dodge…Lund, G3 Alumacraft, Crestliner…But this in malicious.
Boatnut, why don’t you come out of the closet, and tell us who you are, and what other name you post under?
Pretty weak.
Right. I stand by my posts above. I have driven Crestliners, Alumacrafts, Lowes and many others. As I said, all boat manufacturers have their followings. The question asked was “Has anyone seen the Advantage 210?” This was not a “What is your opinion of G3 boats?” And your response was to bring up the negative aspect(s) of a boat you have not even seen yet! With a name different than you are posting with now… And you happen to be a salesman at an boat dealership! So are we to believe that your opinion was unbiased? I won’t be the judge of that. Why not do as we all do here? Be up front, and let everyone know your affiliation. You can read mine in my Bio, so you will know up front if I have an agenda or not.
And I need to lighten up?
OK.
For the record, I would have said the same thing if this post was about a new Crestliner or Lund. We have many Staffers who drive Alumacraft, Ranger, Lund and others. Their affiliation with each brand is listed within their Bio. Each person reading can determine if there is bias by the poster. There better be! LOL! It is the responsibility of the Staffer to educate, and bring to the attention new and innovative boats and accessories by boat and motor manufacturers, not to exploit and trash the competition. However, that does not mean opinions from the public are not welcome, they are!
I found this top secret photo, is this it ?
Where are you going to mount the kicker

I’m by far not a G3 guy, but I have to say I was very impressed by the ride I had in the one last Fall. I rode in the 18.5′ that James shot the IDA video in. Also it was very roomy and seemed to have decent storage. That boat “felt” way bigger than 18.5′ it was. Does anyone have a pic of the new 210? Crosby, Tuck or James what G3 boats will you guys be running this year?
It is on it’s way soon…
I have them, but I am awaiting the go ahead for the unveiling. I agree with the room comment, but you can just about put the 185 inside the 210.
I have a 2007 V185 in my garage right now with the Yamaha 200 4 stroke and T-8. The same style boat you rode in last fall.
Anyone wanting to take a ride or see it, give me a call…
I’ll have the V 210 down on the river starting this thursday through the weekend. I don’t have any opinions of the boat yet as I’ve not had it on the water. The engineers did incorporate a number of features that various tournament anglers and guides presented as a “wish list” so it will be fun to see how this boat turned out. Once I’ve had a couple days in it I’ll share my thoughts about this new rig.

Lip I will be running the new V210 as soon as I receive it . I will bring it down to Evert’s so people who want top take a look or ride can then all opinion’s will be welcome always room for more ideas in a boat!! Will keep everyone posted!!!
The Advantage V210’s will be delivered to the G3 Pro team members within the next two weeks. I have driven the V210 with the 250HP 4 Stroke Yamaha, seen the structure of the V210 and believe me, this boat is built tough with a layout, storage and handling that would be very difficult for the competition to criticize. The V210 is a prime example and result of communications between G3 management, engineers and Pro Staff working together as a team focused on a common goal. Virtually every wish and suggestion from the G3 Pros has been incorporated into the design, features and layout of the V210. Good job guys. Most boats are well built and all are competing for the consumer’s dollar, as well as G3. It’s all about choices of layouts, value and the company’s commitment to their product. G3 (a Yamaha boat co.) is offering a professional quality 21ft. boat, built with the company’s commitment, dedicated to the “Pro fisherman, serious fishermen and area guides”. The V210, not only designed for walleye fishermen it will be welcomed by the salmon fishermen as well. Those who have seen the V210 describe it as a very roomy, clean, a well thought-out, feature packed boat. Sorry about photos, it will be about a week or so before a photo release.
