Left Hand Line Counter Reel

    I was wondering if anyone knows of a left hand line counter reel? I have been looking for months and can only find right hand ones. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    As far as I know, none exist.

    Rumor has it that Abu Garcia will be comming out with a Line Counter attachment (Similar to the one released this year) that will attach to left hand 5500 and 6500 series reels.

    I have looked all over and have not been able to find any. I talked to the Abu Garcia guys a year ago and maybe some day but there wasn’t much of a market for them they said. If anyone hears of one coming out please let us know as it sure would be nice to have one, well, maybe a few. lol. Thanks, Bill

    I have tried one of those line counters you snap on your pole and run your line through and they seem to work OK. They are made by Shakespeare they sell for $12.99 at Cabelas. Then you can use any reel you want.
