Locator Fine Tuning Question

    A friend on the board asked this question. What would your advice be about this? He is looking for advice on adjusting his locator to get the best readings from it. Thanks

    I Have The Genesis Trolling Motor on the bow with a Lowrance X 87 Locator I fish 20′ or less just would like some helpful technique on setting up My locator.

    I would suggest running the grayline at around 33% for a starter. You will be able to get better readings in the manual mode instead of automatic as it will pick up baitfish better. Thanks, Bill
