Hello again. I have written about my used baot motor many times on here lately. Well, here I am again. I had the driveshaft on my late 70’s 25 hp Evinrude break again. I replaced the original after it broke with a new one I had made at a machine shop. Well today putting around at 3/4 throttle, I hear a big bang and she broke again. No, I did not hit anything. What could possibly be causing these to break this often? I do not feel I abuse the boat or motor at all. This is starting to get expensive!! If anybody could offer some suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. I am off to tear the thing down again to survey the damage. Thanks.
