I’m looking for a certain kind of pedestal for the front deck of my Crestliner. It’s a ‘bass fishin’ seat pedestal, as I call it. It works great for fishing for crappies all day. But here’s what they look like:

The problem is, this post is 1.77″, and I need one that’s 2 3/8″. Where can I find this type of pedestal in the right size (24-30″ height)?
    Thanks in advance…..

I just searched a little bit to no avail, the only one even close was a 2″ on Ebay. I would just call a Crestliner dealer they should be able to point you in the right direction…maybe Swivl Ese doesn’t even make one but someone else does. Brad

You need the Swivl-Eze 238 Series Power Pedestal(13″-16″,or 19″ to 23″), an extension(9″,12″ or 15″), and a 238 seat mount. My boat came with the Attwood pedestals(Crestliner OEM), but they are hard to find. Check with one of the Marine guys here on IDA or if they do not carry them, the major outdoor stores should have them.

Thanks guys, I’ll have to look around a bit. Sounds like kind of a hassle to get the one I want if you have to get it in three pieces. For that I’ll probably just go with my original plan of welding the 1.77 inside a 2 3/8 tube. Thanks guys

It looks like Cabela’s saved me after all. I found that they did have one for this size diameter base, and here it is:

It fits the larger 2 3/8 diameter bases, and it seems to work real nice. The thing I like about it, too, is that it locks and unlocks, depending on if you want it to swing around or not. The power rise has lots of power too, pretty nice. Just thought I’d post this in case someone else saw this and was looking for something similar.
