Skeg Repair NW Suburbs

    Can anyone recommend a good shop for repairing skegs? Took two inches off my Merc 150 coming into the Isle landing last October?

    Thanks. Hope the water level comes up this spring….

    Hey Pete, try Formula Prop on 63rd and Highway 81.

    And if you want to come all the way to Rochester, Schoenman on Hwy 63N is outstanding. I had him redo the skeg on my big Yamaha, cost $150 including parts, labor and paint.

    I’ll second Formula Prop. I’ve had a few props fixed there. Their work is at a reasonable price too.
