Well, first off…Hello all and thank you guys for running such a great site. My question is, I have been looking at 2 man size flip overs and am considering the Prowler. I’m wondering if anyone has or has used the Glide Trax models…Do they pull easier and does the extra storage space in the “pontoons” justify the extra money over something similar like the Trekker ?

I enjoy my trekker, but have to say that the glide trax look awesome I would love to be able to store my rods under the sled rather than having them tangled up in buckets..with the trax storage, you wouldn’t even need a bucket…And buckets take up a lot of room imo where this will eliminate the problem. My only question is just how durable the trax are, it sure would suck to have the sled material get brittle and break leaving you sitting on top of a bunch of broken ice rods but i would have to take the time to investigate the design a little more to better understand the concept.

    btw- welcome to IDA

Good point Cade, I hadn’t thought that far ahead Thanks for giving me a different angle to consider
