Neglected to get a temp sensor in my transducer so I bought a Minnkota air/water temp. dealy bob. Where do I mount it? It looks like I may be a be to screw it on to my transducer bracket in the back. I’ve got a S/C Fishawk. Anybody else ever mounted one of these?

When I put mine on, there were three holes already drilled in the transom that had been filled with caulk. Previous owner must have had a second fish finder mounted there at one point.
I just re-drilled one and screwed down the sensor. As long as it’s under the waterline, I’d think it would be allright, so if you can mount it to the ‘ducer bracket without drilling another hole in your boat, go for it!
