Rapala Sportsman Series Rod

    Last year I bought a 61/2′ medium light action Rapala Sportman Series rod. I really liked it but, out of the clear blue sky and for no apparent reason the rod broke about 3″ from the tip. I sent it back to Normark and they replaced it with the same rod. The first time I used it this year the same thing happened. Has anyone else had similar experiences with this particular model of rod. Thanks!

    I haven’t used the Sportman’s Series rods but I have 2 Long Cast Series and 3 Tournament Series and have had no issues whatsoever. I don’t know if a $25.00 rod is worth sending back a second time but I’d consider an upgrade as an option.

    i agree with you stillakid. i have the signature series spinning rod with no complaints a great rod for the money! eyenutz!
