looking at the wiring diagram i am a bit confused. the cable running to the unit other than the transducer cable is broken into three smaller sets of wires. (power supply wires, NMEA 2000 power wires, and data cable wires) which set, or all of them do i need to make this work? any feedback would be great. thanks

That information should be in your instructions. If I remember correctly, you need power to the NMEA 2000 wires and the transducer cable. The other wires would not need power to them.

Those you just tape off.Unless you go with an external GPS puck.

Hope you have better luck with that unit than I did.

I have the same unit, I love it myself… as was said before, tape the other wires unless you are networking it, (NMEA). I did have an issue on a trip labor day where the unit locked up and I lost all my waypoints, so get a mmc card and back everything up. BTW, if it locks up the only way out is to start up the unit and hold the power and pages buttons simultaneusly. This reboots the unit and you lose everything!!!! I was told that it should not happen again, and so far it has not.
