YES!!! GET THE ROPE LIGHT!!! Seriously, they do rule. I put two of them in the Smokercraft I currently have for sale (shameless plug), and now I’ll be putting two in the Crestliner I own now. They seem to be real durable and do the job well. They are real bright; at 3am you can’t really even see OUT of the boat because they light up everything so well, depending on where you mount them. The only part you need to be careful with is the plastic clips they come with for mounting. They suck. But what I did was use them anyway, then wrap a zip tie around the light and clip so the clip will stay shut and the lights will stay mounted (you’ll see what I mean when you see the clips. They’re like a ‘C’ design and get loose after time). But I put a switch on the dash, and when you’re unhooking a fish or baiting up, these lights can’t be beat. Once you’re fishin again, it’s time to turn em off and go from there. If you have any questions about em, just email me. I’ll be happy to answer what ya got.

A great spot to watch or look for LED lights is at your local truck accessory stores. Many of the larger ones carry interior lights for the “Big Rigs” that flush mount. These lights use very little power and broadcast a great amount of light.

I totally lit up my Warrior last summer. Went to http://www.superbrightleds.com/ and bought a variety of fixtures. Good light, very little battery draw. I replaced some of the original fixture bulbs with new led bulbs also. Have fun!

They have a couple of the LED ropes in the bargin cave for 1/2 prices. I bought a couple yesterday. There were still one or two left.

The rope lights sound like a good idea. How long are they? I’m guessing I’d need a set for each side of the boat.

I have a brand new package here in my hand, and they are 6′ in length with a 5′ power cord. Two in a boat is perfect.
