New Lowrance LCX 28 Maps

    Considering purchasing the new lowrance with the preloaded maps.Does anyone know what lake maps they come with ?

    The Lowrance LCX-28C HD comes preloaded with Mapcreate, U.S. Enhanced Lake Maps, Fishing Hot Spots PRO (for inland lakes), and Nauticpath for the Great Lakes and coastal waters. While having these maps preloaded is very handy, especially for those who travel around a lot, these maps are not of the high detail that Navionics or Lakemaster contain on their survey lakes. If you fish any lakes that are listed as survey lakes on Lakemaster or Navionics, you’ll probably want to get one of these map chips, in addition to the preloaded maps on the LCX-28C. If you tell us which lakes you fish, or plan to fish, we can help you more. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the new Lowrance lineup.
