Has anyone used pink or green fireline and if so is it to much color in the water to where it would spook fish

I use 10 lb pink on the Louisiana bayous and some around home no big difference in catching. I use hi vis on crappie poles.

I use both pink and hi vis green. I have noticed no difference fishing for walleyes. However I mainly fish the river so it does not matter much. Unfortunately they discontinued the pink fire line. The 6 pound is my favorite line ever. Fourtunately I got a heads up and bought up a few thousand yards. So I am set for a while. Once it’s gone I am going to be one sad guy.

I’ve used the green for years, cant say for sure but I really think 99% of time the fish dont have time to think about it, they react to the lure/jig and strike by instinct. sure have caught alot of fish with it. On a side note it does fade in the sun and also has a bit of a break in period but that does not seem to affect its strength, also after a season I pull it of my real and spool it backwards to save money and have fresh line.

I have used the High-vis Green for many many years. I use it for everything from jigging to casting to trolling. I have not seen a differnece if catch rate but I mainly fish the river also. The high-vis is great for early and late in the day if your a line watcher. One thing to consider if your worried about spooking fish is the new color which is Crystal. It is more visible than the smoke color but also will disapear under water.

have used the flame/hi-vis colors in fireline and power pro for quite a while and i dont think it spooks the fish.
needed new line last fall on a couple of poles but both stops i made were out of flame green, so i went back to moss green. big mistake. after you are used to the bright color the moss is hard to see, especially, on cloudy days and when you are using flame or yellow line on other poles.
i gotta try the crystal – if i can find it. might have to order it.
btw, i do the rewind trick, too, from one reel to another, which doubles the use out of a spool.

For me this product shines during low-light conditions where seeing the line is important…river fishing for walleyes…vertical jigging, pitching, etc.

The Fireline allows me to get back more of the snagged jigs rather than breaking them off as is more common with mono.
