I ordered an XL Parka and Bibs and walleye fished in the boat through 3.5 hours of rain and I have to tell you even though this is labeled as a water resistant set-up. The parka kept me warm and dry and the bibs had a softball sized spot on the top of both legs that soaked through and the ankles were a little wet but other that that I was impressed. The waterproof knee pads did exactly what they were supposed to do. The butt section is not padded but it’s a great priced light weight bib and an extremely warm parka, for the price you can’t go wrong. The water did soak into the jacket and bibs but only came through in the bibs which was pretty darn good.

I purchased them direct from the Strikemaster web site. I will say this., normally I am a XXL. But from my experience with the ice clothing from Clam Corp. it’s best to order a size under your regular size that is why I purchased the XL and it fit’s perfect, I am just a hair under 6′ tall and weigh 230 pounds if that helps you any.

You’ll like em! I was talking to Robb and he said I may want to pick up a can 100% silicone and give the set a shot or two. I guess it’s in Walmart back in the camping section. When my suit is dry I’ll give em a couple of coats and see how it is then.

Do either of these outfits have a removable hood??

I never wear one just stocking cap or my harley hat, even during the coldest days.My only concern will be the freedom of movement while wearing the parka

You can cut them off.. But the hoods are over-sized to fit over hats.
