Lowrance question

    Cweb, the newer Lowrance units automatically default to the GPS map when powered-up. I’ve suggested a software change to “correct” this matter with the Lowrance reps. They told me that this new GPS default feature is now standard on all of their Locator/GPS combination units because of a safety issue regarding GPS navigation. Accordingly, looks like we’re stuck with it for the forseeable future. Enjoy your Lowrance unit!

    thanks for the info…I guess it’s not that big of a deal, but I figured if it could be changed I might as well change it. Guess I’ll just have to live with it. Thanks again!
