Have any of you guys ever owned one of these? I see they repackaged them and have a 1/2 infomercial on them now. What a hoot. Had a buddy of mine bring one on a fishing trip about 10 years ago. We had so much fun making fun of him all weekend. Atleast until he caught the biggest fish of the trip.
I see know they offer a girdle belt with them that holds tackle and has a rod holder on it for hands free beer drinking.
After watching this infomercial for awhile Im starting to have second thoughts about the St Croix I own.

Come on. I know atleast one of you owns one of these. Speak up.

I bought one years ago and used it when I was traveling. Depending on what you where fishing for it worked pretty good. Also used it for skipping docks. Caught a 6.5 lb bass with it.

Had one when I was a kid. Got it for X-mas.Carried it everywhere…Cast it out, layed it down on the dock… Fish pulled it in. God I miss that thing I think it was a brownish orange color, the new black one rocks…….

My ex brother in law brought one fishing once when I took him. It was very, very hard to keep a straight face when he was trolling a planer board and trying to hold on to his pocket fisherman. Even funnier was watching him try to land a huge carp he snagged.

I got the original and the new one from 12 years ago or so.
can’t imaging fishing with them. Great cat toys. Lures them into range.

You could keep it for a back-up, back-up ice rod!

I saw an infomercial on one that is longer, like 5ft or so and still folds into nothing. I highly doubt I would ever buy one, but it’s still a neat idea.
