The purchase price is the same as it has been ($149) but there is now a $50 rebate. The rebate requires a dated receipt and the purchase must be made on or after 9-1-06, so I would say anyone who purchased one prior to that date is not eligible.

    From the rebate form:

    Quote:

Navionics 2006 HotMaps Premium Rebate applies to the purchase of any new ’06 HotMaps Premium Chart at $149.00 or greater. All other Navionics Chart products are ineligible for rebate. Charts must be purchased from an Authorized Navionics Dealer. Rebate is available to residents of US and Canada (void where prohibited by law). Offer is only valid for purchases made between 9/1/06 and 12/31/06. Claims postmarked later than 1/15/07 will be refused. Rebate cannot be combined with the Navionics Trade-in program or any other promotion or offer from Navionics. Only one claim may be submitted for each ‘06 HotMaps Premium Chart purchased. Offer is available to retail customers only. Rebate form must be completed in its entirety and mailed together with the DATED ITEMIZED SALES RECEIPT and the UPC LABEL from the HotMaps packaging. Photocopies, computer printouts or handwritten receipts will not be accepted. Navionics is not responsible for incomplete or lost claims and will not provide notification for refused claims. Fraudulent claims will be refused without notification and reported. Rebate is issued in US dollars. Please allow 6-8 weeks for the processing of your claim.

Anyone have one of these for a LMS 332C? Just wondering how they show up on the smaller screen. Looks like now is the time to buy one from Wade.

I actually bought my card the other day, and borrowed a lowrance H20 (non color) to view it on and even on that small screen it’s just rocks, gotta be one of the very best things I’ve ever bought. Soon I’ll have it on my Lowrance 337 . Alas if I didn’t have some Gander bucks to use up, I know I would’ve got mine from wade, never heard anything but great comments about him.

I have it in my 332C as well. Can’t complain one tiny bit. Looks great on full screen and is decent on split screen.

I also run the Premium chip I got from Wade on a Hummingbird 595c. The screen is smaller and works great. I usually run it in split screen and can see it great This was one of the best purchases I have made for fishing right next to the GPS

Bub, That was probably the WI Lowrance Lakemaster chip. The Lowrance chips have mapcreate data loaded on them so you do get road data for that state.

How is the Mississippi River Map on this chip? I went to the site and it says (Mississippi River, Mississippi River-Pool 8+). I fish mainly River pools 7-10. Is this the right chip or is there a better one for these pools?

I would post this question in the Mississippi river forum to get some feedback from the guys who run this chip on those pools. I know it has very good wing dam coverage on some parts of the river but I’m not sure about the 7-10. I think 8 is pretty good. Check with the guys in the river forum. They can tell you for sure.

There is a river map made by Navionics. It is more expensive than the hotmaps premium and you may consider that option if the river guys don’t think the premium coverage is very good for your area.
