Anyone got a couple of can’t miss Muskie lure suggestions for Lake Vermilion in early September. Trust me, I won’t tell a soul. Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures when I get back. (If I ever figure out how) Thanks and Thanks again for all of the great info and chatter.

Tough to beat a shumway flasher for a bucktail.

I just watched a show the other day on muskie fishing in northern MN, it was fall time and they were throwing Bucktails with a “fluted” blade

Top water and bucktails should be the go-to baits!

I like Blue Fox bucktail spinners, and the Bucher Top Raider. Good luck

Buchertail bucktails work pretty good. Decent hair and a good blade. Hooking percentages are good with these too, nice balance!

Got to love the weagle and the Viper “dog walkers”. GREAT hooking percentages and make good noise. I’ve been playing with the Salmo Maas Marauder and thus far also like the performance out of them.

Got the one in my avatar on Vermillion with a black and orange bucktail (Little Bailey Tail). West Lake and she came up from the depths to nail it.

I would try a Manta Hang Ten white in color. Where is Lake Vermillon anyway?

I prefer Harrasser’s over Bucher’s & I like the lumber with weights, but thats just me.
