Rod question

I see that some of the higher end companies offer a casting rod in6’8” m xf what techniques would this rod be used for.I searched on St Croix site but really couldn’t figure it out.

I would use that rod for vertical jiggging, casting/pitchng plastics on the river for eyes, could even possibly use that rod for rigging on the pond for eyes. But I’m a walleye guy. Not sure what bass guys wouls use that for.

I use mine for tubes and jigs/plastic fishing smallies.

Thanks for the replies. I don’t have the funds to buy the big dollar rods but I did find that pflueger started making a new rod for right at $40 that has that action. I am looking forward to see how it works on river eyes.
