Any way to salvage a submerged aqua view camera??? I drowned mine for a couple hours and was wondering if i should scrap it or try to salvage it. Thanks.

If you take the outer covers off and put a fan on it to dry it out, after several days of drying it just might work again so long as you haven’t tried to turn it on when it was wet. Never dried out an aqua view, but it has worked on other things, It is worth a shot anyways

July 10, 2006 at 5:17 pm #459286Latest Outdoor Life or Field and Stream says electronics can be saved by storing unit in a box with uncooked white rice. The rice is suppossed to absorb any moisture and hopefully revive the gear.
