I have a Garmin Rino 120 and looking to load some lake data into it. I am mainly an ice fisherman that is looking for depths. These two seem to be my options. I need some pro or cons between the two, or any Recommendations whould be great.
    Thanks
    Have a good one.

Lakemaster has some of the best detail and best accuracy. If the Hot Spot is anything like their paper maps, don’t even bother with it.

Garmin MN Lakemaster is the better of the two…

    Thanks guys
Sounds like lake master is the one hands down.
Do you know if there is going to be a new release of Minnesota Lake Master that I should wait and get that, or just get the curent version?
    Thanks

Yes there will be late this summer. You can get your chip now and upgrade when it comes out.

I’m not sure what Garmin is going to do. They will probably have a paid upgrade option available. I would contact them to inquire:

This is an e-mail I got back from Garmin

“I know the website still says v3, but what is shipping from the online store now is v4. V4 was very recently released and the website hasn’t caught up with it.”

    Happy fishing
