Hello. I thought I would look here for some info on area used boat dealers. Please, no Stark’s or Holmen Pawn. I currently have an 82 PolarKraft 15 flat, X-wide and deep. i don’t like the flats to much. I am looking for a V with a deck, livewell, and storage. I do not have deep pockets (working poor,LOL). Is there anywhere around LaCrosse or surrounding area that might have one of these. i would really like an Alumacraft 14′, something like the BackTroller. Also what do you think my current rig is worth? All I have on it is a 25hp Evinrude (early 70’s), 30# MinnKota troller, and trailer (in great shape). Would it be better to just trade the boat and keep the motor’s, or trade the whole rig for another rig? Thanks for any advice. Mike

Smittys Marine in Lake City, Mn has alot of new and used boats and sells both Lund and Alumacraft boats. Best prices around. Thanks, Bill

Have you tried the Classifieds section on the home page? There’s usually a lot of boats in there. I would suggest looking at different sites to get an idea on what your rig is worth. Try looking on http://www.boattraderonline.com they usually have 90,000 or so rigs on their site.Once you get a price figured out you can list it on the classifieds right here on EFN. It sounds like a great river rig and should sell quick if it’s in good shape. Steve

As Bill Caldwell said, it would be worth your time to drive to Lake City and see Smitty with your rig….he has tons of new/used rigs there that might be just what you are looking for.

With a handle like Leinieman lets see, yep Leinie Lodge Member.

I saw the boat package contest and was waiting untill the 1st to throw out the info. I didn’t want others to follow in my footsteps. I saw http://www.leinie.com and jumped right on the tube. Searched and searched that darn site before I read (starts on April 1st) oh well it was like a Aprils Fools joke only early. There is no sense in any one else even sending in for that contest,a nice Lund with the Leinie Logo on the side should go straight to the Leinieman. Not only that but the contest starts on my Birthday. Yep I’m an April Fools Day baby. Wow not only that but thats the day I become eligible for the Old Gezzers tourney. LEINIES JUST SEND ME THE BOAT!!1

If you would like to drive 2 hours north you can check out Warners Dock in New Richmond, WI. You can see their inventory of used boats at http://www.warnersdock.com. Let me know what you looking to get out of your flat, I could use one. Thanks, Bait Caster

I forgot to save my PM’s and lost them. Somebody mentioned and interest in my flat bottom if I sold it. If you read this, could you please PM me again? Thank you. I have tried putting it up on the classifieds but still has not showed up.
