WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU OUT THERE RUN OTHER OIL IN YOUR FICHT MOTORS! HEARD THE OTHER DAY 100% SYNC. IS THE WAY TO GO BUT WHAT BRAND? NO CARBON BUILD UP WITH IT AND WE ALL KNOW CARBON IS THE ENEMY!

My Ficht is running so well with the Ficht Ram Oil that I’m afraid to try anything else. If it’s not broken I don’t want to ficht it. So to speak… I am currious what other people are running though.

I am sticking with Ficht oil. It is a blend of synthetics designed to lubricate these motors to the exacting qualifications that they have established. They do make a Bio-Oil that is a synthetic. Check with Bombardier first…

I have been running Ficht motors since 1998. I have never experienced a catastrophic failure with any of the engines I had. Although I did have some carbon problems with my 150 and 175 engines. To alleiviate this problem I started burning Amzoil 2 stroke synthetic injector oil. This seemed to eliminate the problem. I am running a 225 Ficht now with no problems at all { knock on wood}. Hope this helps you.
