Sharing Lowrance GPS Information between users

    I was wondering, is it possible to share information from one Lowrance GPS to another? In particular, I would like to share my trail information with my buddy for navigational purposes. We both have mmc capable units. Also, I have a mapcreate series 6 disk. Thanks…

    Just get the MMC cards, load your info off each unit, exchange cards with your buddy and he’s got it. Simple, just don’t try and copy any of the HOTSPOTS or other LOWRANCE cards because they are copy protected and it will erase them.

    I went out and bought a blank card and transferred the data. It worked. Brought it into my mapcreate program and was able to do a little editing.
