Hi, I was out on pool 4 today and my gps was used to get used to it. Anyway after two hours of great operation the screen started to blink off and on. I turned the unit off and it continued to blink off and on. I have a Lake Master chip. The readings were accurate but it just would not show a steady picture. I checked the connections as I have it hooked into my main battery with the cigarette adapter. I went to my booklet but there is no info on trouble shooting problems. Have any of you had this happen and do any of you know what might be wrong? Thanks a million. JJ

i had a problem with an ifinder pro. i called lowerance and i sent it in. they sent me a new one because it could not be fixed. if it is new, take it back to where you got it because i was without my gps for about 5 weeks. if it is old, you might have to do this.

Turn off the unit and pull the chip out and when you put it back in make sure it’s seated properaly.

There is a reset for the unit also, but I can’t remember the seqeunce.

I had a similar problem and sent mine in for service. A new one was at my door in 3 business days. The card reader (where you install the card) thing was losing contact with the card.

Excluding that one problem, it is a great unit.

Thanks for you people who replied! I really appreciated your inputs. I took my chip out and re-installed it and now the unit is working o.k. I will be cognicent of the problem of improper contact. Again, thanks for your help! JJ
