I am thinking on purchasing a Patriot 1690T boat.

Anyone out here have or have fished from one?

Not only do I like the name….

I saw this boat at the MN. Walleye Expo and was quite taken by it! I have three kids now that do not fit with me into my 14 ft. Alumacraft Lunker (which is now up for sale).

If you have information on the Patriot boats, please let me know what you think of them… as I plan to make a move on this very soon.

Here is the boat I am thinking about getting…

    Need to esplain, huh?

I am thinking of replacing my 1996 Alumacraft “puddle jumper” Lunker V 14 … for more room.

I was a die hard Alumacraft man for many years before starting with EFN. I have had three boats from them under promotional “programs”. I have been very happy with Alumacraft boats. I love my Lunker!

Upon starting this job with EFN, I set a program with Crestliner, as it was benifical to our staff and management. Though “sponsored” by Crestliner, I did not aquire a Crestliner boat last year on a program, as the program selection was limited. I do not have a Crestliner selection option this year again.

I have been very proud to “promote” for both companies, both companies being exceptional boat builders and both having very fine aluminum boats. I have worked sucessfully, to have several of our EFN staff consider Alumacraft boats as well as new Crestliners.

I do very much like the Canadan 18 foot boat from Crestliner. This is a super rig and would well fit my needs for all lakes & rivers… but, I have not been sucessful in gaining a promotional program on that boat.

I am now looking into a GLASS boat that I may aquire under a promotional program.

Richard Smith has been thinking on getting a Patriot and has been “in my ear” about it often for over the last year. After seeing them at the Expo show, I see why. Patriot is a very nice looking boat, it has a fast salt-water hull design, it has a clean and simple lay-out.

I am interested in seeing if anyone here has run a Patriot to gain feed back in making my next move. This may be a move into GLASS.

    Dave,

What’s the current retail on the above pictured package? Are they a solid product at a lower expense or are they a solid product and priced accordingly……….like a Cadillac? And where’s your nearest Patriot dealer?

Can we talk them into maybe selling the Wooldridge line of boats also ? We need a dealer around these parts and they need an EFN Media Pro staffer running their Alaskan 17.5 footer up and down all the rivers that I can get on all spring summer and fall.
