Need to esplain, huh?
I am thinking of replacing my 1996 Alumacraft “puddle jumper” Lunker V 14 … for more room.
I was a die hard Alumacraft man for many years before starting with EFN. I have had three boats from them under promotional “programs”. I have been very happy with Alumacraft boats. I love my Lunker!
Upon starting this job with EFN, I set a program with Crestliner, as it was benifical to our staff and management. Though “sponsored” by Crestliner, I did not aquire a Crestliner boat last year on a program, as the program selection was limited. I do not have a Crestliner selection option this year again.
I have been very proud to “promote” for both companies, both companies being exceptional boat builders and both having very fine aluminum boats. I have worked sucessfully, to have several of our EFN staff consider Alumacraft boats as well as new Crestliners.
I do very much like the Canadan 18 foot boat from Crestliner. This is a super rig and would well fit my needs for all lakes & rivers… but, I have not been sucessful in gaining a promotional program on that boat.
I am now looking into a GLASS boat that I may aquire under a promotional program.
Richard Smith has been thinking on getting a Patriot and has been “in my ear” about it often for over the last year. After seeing them at the Expo show, I see why. Patriot is a very nice looking boat, it has a fast salt-water hull design, it has a clean and simple lay-out.
I am interested in seeing if anyone here has run a Patriot to gain feed back in making my next move. This may be a move into GLASS.
