When I trim my motor down at a certain point it sounds like it is grinding. then it passes that point and the noise stops. It does not make the noise when I trim it up. Any ideas? Lubrication? I can’t find any grease points.

    Drop-shot,

My F150 does the same thing when I raise it. I found that it was friction where the two push rods make contact with the motor. It is only for a second, but happens every time. I just assumed it was fine, but I also am curious what others think.

A little dab of grease on the “push rods” and where the push rods make contact, the noise should go away.

I put a couple drops of grease and the noise is gone. Thanks for the help. I was thinking the worst!
