    WAS WONDERING ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO GET OR HOW TO FILL OLD SCREW HOLES IN A FIBERGLASS BOAT! ONE HAS A SPIDERVAIN AND A COUPLE ARE CHIPPED IN THE GEL COAT! THANKS BOYS!

    It isn’t a perfect solution, but it is easy. A dab of body filler and then use a magic marker (or two) to match the boat’s paint. The magic marker trick also works on small scratches in the gelcoat, etc.

    Like I said, not a perfect solution, but it is better than having holes.

    I had the same thing happen on my boat. I used two-part epoxy to fill and smeared some all over the inside where it was spider cracked. Whether or not that’s a good solution I don’t know. It’s held up for two years now, and there’s not many things I can think of that dry as hard as epoxy.

    If you’re in love with the boat, take it to a body shop and have it fixed professionally. My boat is not the greatest, so usually a home remedy is good ’nuff.

    THANKS GUYS I KNEW I WOULD FIND THE ANSWER HERE ON THIS SITE! THAT GELCOAT KIT LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD DO THE JOB!
