    Just ordered the crestliner TS202 with Z250 txrb yamaha and T8 kicker. Apparently Crestliner just up’d the horsepower limit on these boats. Any ideas on what a person could expect out of this boat (mph, ride, etc.)? I have heard nothing but good things about the TS 202’s, how about the Yamaha 250 HPDI? It’s hard leaving a Warrior to go to a “tin” boat again! Genmar really has a thing going with the big money tournaments only paying out for people with there boats. I hope this boat will ride and handle big water as good as the Warrior did. Anybody have thoughts on this?

    Congrats on the new boat!! I have a new TS202 sitting in my garage, itching to get on the water…(I have a 225 Mercury Optimax on mine)

    The boat should run (full load) in the mid-to-high fifties. Ride will be good with the quick-shot transom, 20+ foot length, and wide beam.

    I took my first ride in the boat last fall and was impressed…I previously had a glass boat, too.

    Have fun with your new boat and with all of the room you have in it, take some friends fishing with you!!

    Good Luck;

    Eric,
    I was hoping to hit 60 mph, do you think the boat is a bit to wide and has to much surface area on the water to get that kind of speed? The SC1891 Warrior with 175 Merc. would hit 60mph. It also had a high five prop. I still don’t know what prop to put on the Yami! Any ideas?
