I’m thinking of picking up a Falcon rod at the sports show this weekend. I was gonna get one for throwing cranks. I have never used a falcon rod before and I was just wondering what you guys thought of them and how they compared to other high end rods. Thanks!

Falcon does make ok rods- But if your going to spend the money you should look at the kistler LTA rods. Lifetime warrenty and they are one of the best rods out. You could cast all day with these and never know it.

I haven’t found a rod in the 90-130 dollar range yet I like better than Falcons.
April 1, 2006 at 2:41 am #434971You can get the pro graphite series around 130 or so the helium LTA go for around 175 or so. Check out the web site Kistlerrods.com They have some pretty neat set ups for their rods.
