What year is my Yamaha outboard?

    I can’t find what year my motor is online anywhere

    It is a 40MLHQ long shaft. Any help out there?

    There should be a plate on the motor mount brackets that show the month and year. Can you post a pic of the motor.

    If I remember right, I think it looked like a early- mid 90’s?

    I think I found out the year, but here is a pic. I believe it is a 1992 so maybe someone can tell if I am close

    Who did you buy that boat from? It looks like one a friend of mine sold recently. If the seller lived in Rochester and its him I’ll pm you his name and phone number.

    Bill-It is the boat I am sure you are thinking of Jim is one of your fellow Walleye Searcer members. But, he didn’t remember off hand what year it was when I bought it

    Wats-Q=1992.
    M=manual start.
    L=20″ shaft.
    H=handle(tiller)
