I will be there all day on Friday and Saturday. I can not attend on Sunday. James… Not sure for him on Sunday, but I think he is planning on going up on Friday and Saturday both.
I am real excited to do the booth at the sports show for Gander… mostly, so I can listen in as James explains just how he is using my plastics on Pool 4

You EFN FTR / FTL Field Staff, Media Staff & Pro-Staff people who want to come join us in the Gander Mountain booth, please do so. You are all welcome… I am sure Gander will have plenty of room, with the biggest booth at the show . It will be fun to see you all there!

Thanks for the invite Dave, But the wife and I all ready have plans plus it’s a five hour drive. And I would put money on it if I did show up, Mike would handcuff me to the Fin-Tech booth. I just got done working a show with Mike at the Madison Fishing Expo, I need a break. BOLA

Tuck, good to see you at the show… and thanks for spending the time to explain the Ringworms, Doos, and K-Grub colors and rigging to the guy you brought over (I missed his name). He and I continued to visit long after you left… he is the one who blew his motor up… boo hoo Not good…
If you have time and are going to be at the show on Friday or Saturday lets visit some more.

Hi Guys, how’s the show going. I hear it’s huge. I can’t make the five hour trip. So lets here some stuff about the show. Someone take some pictures this weekend and attach them. Make sure you get the Fin-tech booth with Mike in there.

Jeff, you’re really missing out, I’ve been at the show for four days and haven’t come close to covering it. I still need to get down to the area that has Hoggies Hummer! Speaking of Hoggie, I had a chance to check out the great selection of Super Do and Ringworm Kits at the Gander Moutain Booth, a must stop if you get down to the show. I also had the pleasure of meeting FTR Pro Staff Chris Tuckner and Steve Dezurik, what a great bunch of guys.

Got down to the show on friday for four hours on firday.Could of spent alot more time there. A camara would of been a good idea.
Evinrude has the new E-tec motors on display. Nice looking motors. Sounds like they will have the 90hp and up available this summer. The smaller motors sound like they might be a couple years down the road.
Ran into James and Dave at the Gander mountian booth. The plastic kits they came up with look great. My buddy brent got james to sign the pack he bought. Might have to put that one up for sale now.
There is a good number of hummers at the show this year. Must be atleast a half dozen on display. Nice looking rides. Here is your chance to sit in one and dream.
Stopped and talked to Dave Fossum at Mississippi Walleye tales. Dave has a good supply of rods for sale there. Good info on fishing pool 4 also since he is based out of red wing.
One of the must see’s at the show is the “Get out the lead booth” set up right next to the fishing tackle manufactors ” Pro lead booth” Lots of finger pointing and “these guys and those guys” comments going on. If someone is down there on sunday let us know which one is still standing.
Looks like a good weekend to go the the show. Have fun down there guys. And do bring the camara for some of the guys that cant make it down there.

I was at the show Friday night and I give the Gander Mountan booth two thumbs up. I walked in and there was James, Steve Dezurik and Hawger all standing by a big display of SuperDoo’s,Ringworms and Kalins. It was like a mini-siminar on river fishing. What better way to pick colors than have the experts give you the best colors for specific periods. It was the best experience of the SportsShow. I could have just stood back and listened to the conversations all evening but the Wife had things she wanted us to check out. As we were leaving she asked “are you sure you got the stuff you came after?”. I looked down at my load of Super Doo’s and Ringworms and said yes. She then smiled and said “most of the guys were buying whatever the young ladies in the cowboy hats were selling”. Anyone at the Gander booth last night will know what she meant. I must be getting old because it didn’t cross my mind to leave the river talk to look at ???. What WERE they selling anyway?

    Redneck,

Good to meet you. Get us talking fishing and we would be there all night long! Glad you had a good time at the show. I was trying to talk Hoggie into get the cowboy hat personal over to the BFT booth to help seal the sales! JK

IT was a fun evening! I had a ball and got to meet alot of nice people.

Mike Huppert at Fin-tech makes some very nice jigs and I had the pleasure to talk to him a bit abou the “Zone-R” jigs. Definately a jig to have on hand with the high water coming to a river near you!! Nice to meet you Mike!

Thank you guys for stopping into the Gander Mountain booth at the show.
It was great to have Gander host B-Fish-N Tackle.
Fun working with James, DeeZee, and seeing and meeting all the guys.
Gander has plenty of the Ringworm, Super Doo, and K-Grub Kits in left for their 11 regional stores… and also the Weedless Super Doo Jigs.
I did some walking round… I was impressed with the Lorance Booth…They have some real great looking units there. I like the color graphs.
Rich Balanger / St Croix let me hand pick some rods… I want the AS59MXF, AS56MF, and AS60LF. I think I am about ready to go that route (and just donate all my old rods to ARM).
Huppert’s Fintech (Knuckle Ball / Zone R) booth / Maynards Tackle booth had tons of great looking jigs and cool kits…I had fun there
Overall, a good show. I have had some headaches since… from the eye strain from watching those gals in the cowboy hats Ambush Lures I think it was they were selling…
