Lakemaster – New MN Chip?

Hi All:

I have been waiting for the rumored new Lakemaster MN chip to hit the market. The thoughts were this new chip would be available by April or so.

I was in Gander Mountain today and the guy working said the chip may be delayed out even further (fall). I was wondering if any one in the know heard the same?

I am ready to purchase but figured I’d wait for the latest. My only reason for delay was to get Red Lake.

I understand they don’t want to impact existing sales of the Pro MN chip by people waiting.

I’ll be buying the chip within a couple of weeks if the new one is out or not.

Have you tried the lakemaster website? It looks like they have it for the Garmin GPS. Let me know if you want me to contact them, they’re based here in Little Falls where I live. I can check and see if it’s available.

Last time I spoke to Mike at Lakemaster he said that the new chip would most likely be delayed until summer sometime. Further delays are always possible. If you’re hearing fall, that may be correct.
