Did you get a lot of spam or junk mail due to signing up for the promotion?

And what # test did you receive?

The stuff we got last year sort of sucked. It was 10lb mono they were making. I only used it to put on my reel first so I could put on braided. I didn’t give my email because I didn’t want spam. The stuff this year looks a lot better though!!

Do what I do set up a account on hot mail or yahoo and when ever a web site asks for a email account I use that one. I go in a bout once a week and delete everything, that way it cuts down on the spam on the real mail box

    Yeah, good question.

SpiderLine has several products. SpiderWire, SpiderLine FUSION, and SpiderLine Super-Mono (plus a few others). I think FishHunter was talking about receiving the Super-Mono.

I’m looking forward to trying the Stealth. But regular SpiderWire is tricky enough to tie good knots in, this teflon-coated line might be a real trick!

Yep. Super Mono XXX or something like that they sent. I was not impressed with it though. I like the fusion stuff and use it for trolling poles. Works great in the river.

Bad news (sorta) – it’s only 75 yards. It’s the 30lb (8lb eq.) Oh, well. Whatdaya expect for nuthin’?

Same here guys. But its free so why all the sad faces? Just have to put it on a small reel. After all, 75 yards is 225 feet so not all that bad.

Mine arrived in the mail yesterday.
Go to the first post of this thread. Chappy 342 put up a link to the Spiderwire website where we registered for the sample line. It is possible the offer is still good.
