Eagle Fishelite 500C

    Would like to hear comments about this unit. What you think of it? I know very little about comb units so any info would help!!!

    dkmitch, I run the Lowrance 332C and these units aren’t all that different. I have been very pleased with my combo unit. I think the main difference would be the pixel count and power output. There are some guys here at IDA running the Eagle 500 series and they might be able to give you feedback on the screen resolution etc. I know Kooty runs Eagle 500s. If he doesn’t respond here you might send him a PM.

    I’ve got the Fishmark 500c DF and the Intellimap 500c. I really like both units. The minor differences I see vs my buddies with the 332c:

    screen refresh – slightly faster when map shifts on GPS.
    resolution slightly better.

    All in all, I’m very happy with the Eagle product I’ve bought from Wade and would buy again. I’m actually looking at the Fishelite for the bow and transom unit to use when trolling and jigging.
