Still looking for the right boat will fish 80% and play 20% with boat. Pretty sure I will go with a Ranger Reata 1850 but also really like the Skeeter 1880. I just saw an ad for the new Tuffy 1890 also lookied intersting. Anyone have input on the Tuffy line of boats. I see their hull warranty is only five years what’s up with that? Any input on all three boats would be helpful.

I own a Tuffy and really love it alot. I use it to fish walleye tournaments, and it has treated me just as well as any other Lund or Ranger that I have fished out of. Plus there is a definite price difference also. As far as the warrenty, I do not no what is up with that. I bought mine privately, so I am not sure how that end of the tape sticks.

I compared Ranger and Skeeter for the last 3 years, and picked up my Skeeter yesturday, so you can guess my choice.

Poker, I have the Skeeter 1880 and it is an awesome boat. The ride is great, lots of room, excellent layout with tons of storage and with the 200 HPDI and T-8 it is all you need. The 1850 is set up more for the skiing and run-around in my opinion.

You couldnt go wrong with either boat. Both of them are 1st class rigs. The Ranger is just slower then a 7 day itch is all. Sorry i couldnt help myself. No really you would be happy with either one of them. Another good boat to look at is a Champion
