The people at Otter have made this so easy. Let me take you through the steps…. First the easy to use template is used to mark the main frame bracket holes

Drilling the holes after marking the center with a punch

Bolting the bracket on with a 7/16 socket and open end wrench

Inserting the plastic plugs to the mainframe tubes.

Then put the extensions to the mainframe together

Next connect the mainframe tubes to the brackets. The nylon washers are important to the ease of set up.

Set up the mainframe with the supports in place so you can pull the tent over the frame.

After the tent is pulled over , fasting the tent to the sled is easy as drilling and plugging…see

    And thats about it !!

here are a couple of pix of the complete set up. And as you can see I did it in my living room !!

The bench seat is way nice and also easy to assemble

Thanks to Otter..they really have it all together….

I hope to test it out soon!! But this weekend will be very busy doing other things……

I think I’m really gonna like the rod holders Otter sells….I’m not sure this is how they intended for them to be mounted but it works great…..

Actually it’s not that bad…If you stare at it hard enough between bites it begins to move and the image of Slim Whitman singing Via Condios appears. There have also been Elvis sightings

I’ve been meaning to ask – what does the carpet do for you? Is it just to keep the muck from building up on the floor?

The carpet has three main uses.

    • It makes it much easier to stand up and move on the slick plastic floor without falling down
    • It provides a little insulation betwwen the cold hard plastic and your feet
    • When the tent is folded down for transport it lies on top, providing a layer of protection between the fabric and all the gear stacked on top

This third use is really important if you are pulling the tent behind a four wheeler at any rate of speed at all!! Color selection is up to the discretion,or lack there of, the user

Thanks, B. I figured it must have been something other than the aesthetic(sp?) appeal.
