My foot controler for my bow mount troller has been acting up on me. By that I mean the “momentary” part is no longer working when I step on it. It will still work if I kick the “on” switch on, but not the front part.

Is this a common problem, and where do I send it to get fixed. Somewhere around Rochester would be great as I was hoping to get out for a little pool 4 action this weekend

Maybe the boys over at Jolly Ann could help?

There’s a certified Minn Kota repair center located just east of Wild Goose Sports in Rochester.

Same thing happened to me in the middle of Lake Kabetogama. I took the foot controller into Sportsmens in International Falls, they replaced a circuit board on the spot, and I was back in time for the evening bite! If it is indeed your circuit board it’s a relatively cheap repair, hope that helps. Good Luck.

I had a similar problem and Minn Kota replaced the pedal for free. I was still under warranty. Get a co-pilot. I love mine and you always have a spare controller then.

The name of the place is called Lake Sonic I beleive. I tried to find a phone number but don’t have a book handy. I was unable to find it on-line. I’m sure someone will post it up

IF it is under warantee and you have proof of purchase take it to an authorized minnkota dealer and they will diagnose and fix. I blew the circuit board on my maxxum 74 and they replaced it free- only problem is they had to order the part so it took a week to get the part, only a couple hours to put it on and no problems in the 2 years since.
