Its just a nice feature to have. The details are a bit easier to see when you’re looking at maps. Make sure you get a hold of wade.

I just got my color H2O from Wade… I used it this past weekend in the bright sunlight and found that its much easier to read vs the black and white unit…If its not too damaging to your pocketbook get the color one..You will be happy that you do…Also don’t forget to get the new premium chip…Look to Wade at Jolly Ann Marine to assist you in your purchase..

Oh by the way thanks Wade for my new H2OC!!!!

I’ve got an H2Oc and it’s worth the extra $$$.

The color is a lot easier to read.

I have the H20 and the H20 Color, The old h20 is a backup now. And-I feel like a broken record here, but- You can not beat wade’s prices at Jolly Ann’s !!

I decided against the color for 1 reason battery life, I use my handheld for fishing the flats on my sled plus I use it for Snowmobiling and I don’t always have a battery to plug into.

I too got the H2O C and the Premium chip from Wade !
I HIGHLY doubt you will be disapointed.

You can’t go wrong dealing with Wade either. Should the occasion arise , I would’nt think twice about buying from Jolly Anne in the furtue. GREAT service !

Color is the way to go and get it from Wade. As to battery life use lithiums. Cost more but last a lot longer so they are cost effective.

as much as I like The H20’s I’ll have to say they are very hard on batteries. I always have to bring a spare set for a day of fishing. If I go fishing two days straight on Mille Lacs I’ll go through at least 6 double a’s. So at all costs make sure you’re plugged into a dc outlet if you can. However, In comparing with Calvin, we see to think that the color and the gray scale use about the same amount of juice.

I would recommend using rechargeable’s….I have three sets of four, and one set came with an in car charging system. Works REALLY SLICK for my H20!!
