What are the pros/cons of using a troll master on a tiller kicker motor. I have a full console and have a tiller kicker. I am thinking about adding a troll master and also connecting the kicker to the big motor so I can use the steering wheel if I choose. I would probably mount the troll master near the captains chair. Anyone have any input on this setup?
This setup is a-ok 
I have used this for years. When I just want to use the kicker for back trolling, I just unhook it from the main motor and make sure the trollmaster is turned off.
Thanks, just what I wanted to hear. Does the troll master work in reverse if I wanted to do it that way? I don’t really back troll very much, maybe 4-5 times a year. Unhooking wouldn’t be a problem, just curious.
The trollmaster hooks to the throttle body lever on the engine, so going in reverse will work just fine.
Usually when I am going in reverse I am in the back of the boat and I use the motor twist throttle.
