Lot’s of great names! I’m impressed. My fav so far is the Loon Killer, though it might not have the greatest market appeal!

    I’ll toss my “line” in…

They look like Eggheads to me.

I would use them in still waters too.

Call it The River “BIG HOOK” Jig. This would refer to the hook size and in my boat it’s what the man is called who catches the biggest or the most walleyes for the day. I’m guessing that’s what these heads would do for you. I can just hear the ad, “If you want a safe hook set with deeper penetration use the “BIG HOOK” Now, I’ve got that out of my system.

I hope I’m note repeating a name already mentioned but I really like “Hawger” . …….. not only for you Dave, but for being a jig that will go after the “big Hawg” fish in the river. I can see an affinity to this name while fishing on Pool 4 and being asked what kind of jig that was..and me yelling back…”It’s a Hawger, 1/4 oz”.

You guys have some great idea’s, but it’s the Keeper Jig.

    B-Fish-N’s Keeper Jig
    – The unique head shape keeps the jig in the Strike Zone.
    – The stainless steel bait keeper holds bait tight in place, fish after fish.
    – The premium Mustad hook keeps the fish on the line.

There ya have it foks. Catch more keepers with the Keeper Jig.

A couple others that made me laugh:
Sticky Finger (because of the bait keeper)
    Better than Barbs Jigs

    RiverEyes…
I am back to your post at the front of this thread.
There have been some physical changes to the new Super Doo’s also… check the EFN Outlet Store and you’ll see that all the B-Fish-N Tackle plastics in general, have been up-graded and improved. Here is the product info from The EFN Outlet Store….
    Ringworms:
B-Fish-N Tackle has taken an already great fish catching design… and made it BETTER!
The 4″ ringworm has earned the reputation of one of the most versatile plastic designs ever created yet B-Fish-N Tackle Co. listened to angler input and made some subtle changes that have improved both the performance and durability of this product!
B-Fish-N Tackle beefed up the neck of their 4″ Ringworms to provide added durability. Anglers had stated time and time again that fish, particularly bass, were ripping their ringworms off their jigs during violent headshakes at boatside. The solution was to eliminate the “neckdown” area of the old design and tweak the existing molds to produce baits that were ever so slightly larger in diameter for the first 1.5″ behind the nose of these baits. The result was a much more durable ringworm that retained ALL of the subtle fish catching action this bait is famous for!
B-Fish-N Tackle made another important change to the tail of it’s 4″ ringworms by slightly enlarging the overall size of the tail on ALL of its ringworms. You can clearly see in comparison, the improvements made to the tail of of the BFT 4″ ringworms.
A BETTER TAIL = MORE ACTION = MORE FISH!
All B-Fish-N Tackle (BFT) products are manufactured to strict quality control requirements. As a result BFT’s ringworms feature cleaner pours, fuller tails and industry leading color seperation across it’s entire product line!
    Super Doos:
B-Fish-N Tackle is proud to offer it’s expanded line of 4″ Super Doos… the “Ultimate Finesse Soft Plastic” for walleye, sauger and smallmouth bass!
B-Fish-N Tackle (BFT) has gone to great lengths to improve this already deadly bait by finding a manufacturer willing and able to adhere to BFT’s strict quality control requirements. As a result BFT’s Super Doos feature longer, fuller tails that are cleanly cut each and every time! Please note that BFT’s name for this product is spelled Doo’s and NOT Do’s… this is because there is no other “Do”… like a BFT “Doo”.
Color seperation has also been greatly improved resulting in Super Doos that are offered in a range of custom fish catching colors and patterns with a minimal amount of bleeding between colors making for a much more effective and enticing soft plastic bait!
Now available in 12, 25 or 100 Ct. Single Color Packs!
This allows anglers to pick and choose their preferred colors AND quantities to best suit their individual needs.

Hey guys!~ I sure am impressed with all the suggested names… literally dozens for Dave to choose from. notice I said Dave?! I help design ’em… I don’t name ’em! So be looking for a choice from Dave on the name. He’s busy as heck so it might take him a couple days to pick one since it’s a name that will stick with the product for a LONG time!

Am I dreaming Super Doos or did you say in a post last month that Gander was going to be selling your Doos.
I think you noted that they should have had them in by the first of Feb. I my twice weekly trip to Gander in Davenport IA. to see whats new for spring, coming in, and have not seen them.

    Thanks

Drum roll please….. we have a winner!

    Announcing…..

    the

    “H2O Precision Jig”.

Dave Koonce… you nailed the H2O.

Congrats, sir. A $100.00 “H2O Precision Jig” assortment will be on the way to you ASAP.

I have added my own “Percision” to James “handle” of H2O.

By deffination… precise is…. sharply or exactly defined, strictly accurate or correct.

This was very much fun, I thank all that were involved in the effort. Thanks James, for allowing all here at EFN to help name your design… you were too modest to name it after yourself, but Ecnook knows that it should forever be linked to you… I agree… and because you handed me the ball… here is my play! I think we have scored.

James, it is very much a “precision jig”… one that I am sure will live to become a classic.

I am very honored to make and market this “H2O Precision Jig” .

That is a sweet prize! I missed the cutoff date to get my suggestions entered in time. Hopefully I’ll catch the next jig naming contest. I’ll definately be ordering up some of these jigs to give them my own (no pun) christening!!

Judge Hoggie, I want to congrats you on the fine name you’ve picked. What a great way to tap into the invaluable resources available (guys and gals posting here) on EFN. Do you have someone icing Jame’s head to keep the swelling down? LOL.
