Going to Alaska in July and am looking to buy (or rent)an 8 1/2′ to 9’MH Spinning Rod (2 piece) and/or a Penn 5500 Spinning reel. I don’t mind having to buy new, however, this may be a once in a lifetime trip and thought there may be a fellow ID’er that took a similar trip, bought the equipment, and it’s now simply collecting dust.
