Cessna announced that they are entering the ice shelter market. This new shelter is designed to get you into one of those remote lakes that cannot be reached by other winter transportation. We are waiting anxiously for the product review from this trip shown:

I like how it has those cool wings spread out so you can use it on thin ice… are they also entering the boating market?

My office mate had that pic as his desktop for most of last year. He subscribes to a newsletter for bush pilots (owns a husky). If I remember right, the story was that the pilot thought the snow-covered ice was a beanfield and tried to put down in an emergency landing.
Well, he missed the beans but at least there was no chance of fire. Anybody know if the pilot escaped from the plane?
