hand held depth finders

    Has anyone used one of these units? Just curious if they work well and which brand you would recomend. The kind I am asking about are for reading water depth through the ice, boat, etc..made by Strikemaster, Marcum, or Vexillar. Thanks in advance.

    I’ve used both the Vexilar and Strikmaster. Both worked well. These only mark depth. They do not show fish or bottom hardness.
