Hoping for some feed-back,considering buying a color camera, comes with 60ft cord, led for night vision, and it has no moniter but can be hooked up to a portable dvd player.Has anyone ever seen or heard of some-one doing this this way, instead of the pre-packaged deals that run over 300/400 hundered dollars? The camera runs only 130,and i already own a quality porable dvd player that has a a/v input jack.attached a pic and the specs for the unit i am looking at buying.

Are you going to use it for ice fishing?
It will be hard to keep the camera pointed in the correct direction and depth without something to hold it there.

Where does the camera get it’s power from?

Thats a great deal, same as a camera you could buy for $500 You will have to give us a report of how it works and where you bought it at. I did thre same thing but with a 5″ B/W TV.

It has notches to hold the cord on the back of the fin,so it can be pointed straight down, might have to rig something up to hold it off the btm a little.Comes with a battery for power
