Some of the new features on the Edge 3 are there are 4 personal modes you can pre-program instead of 3. The Edge 3 also has zoom and is much faster than the Edge2. If you have any questions just let me know.. This unit will knock your socks off..
Derek,
I wish they wouldn’t have done that, I have been running the Edge 507 since they came out, now I’ll have to have one of these. THe 507, IMHO, is the best unit on the market, now this, I can’t stand the pressure…..lol Looks like another winner.
Derek
What’s the MSRP on that bad boy and can we get Wade to carry them?!
We’ll definately carry the new color Edge. I should have an expected time frame next week.
James, we can talk price over a cocktail or two during the October full moon trip.
OK…. will the price keep going down as your BAC goes up?
If so I’ll come prepared!
I have had my Edge 3 for about a month.I had a x19 lowrance previously. there is no comparison in the fish marking ability of the Edge 3.It is far better than the Lowrance(in my opinion). I just love it.Finely some thing works as advertised. Shallow water performance is outstanding.
Now you’re talking… shallow water performance!~ I haven’t had a good shallow water finder since pin-points went off the market. Derek’s been filling me in behind the scenes… my next graph will be this graph.
Pinpoints were great.
I still have two that are on the boat and two in the garage, just in case. I will run them till they die and then I will get a VexilarEdge 4 or 5

There is a extra port on the back of the unit, may be a GPS in the future for Vexalar, that will plug in to the Edge 3? Any replies? I just hate spending money on Lowrance. Now there is a alternative to the high priced units. That works better, with a A1 service dept. that don’t try to rob you.
Yes, the Edge is an excellent shallow water machine. With the super wide 107KHZ ducer, your cone coverage is about 6.5 feet in 10 foot of water. I have been able to mark walleyes in 5 feet of water on mille lacs.
Originally the Edge casing was made with a GPS antenna port to someday allow GPS. However there are no future plans to add GPS because of cost. Vexilar is trying to keep the Edge on top and affordable to everyone.
James, if Wade passes out, the unit is free..

More beer, lower cost? Could be a new way of doing bizness. Tell ya what. You help me CPR a 10-pound eye and we’ll see how low that price can go!

Oh great! Now he’s got an agent. Something tells me I’m on my way to a lighter pocketbook.
Hey Wade,
Remember you are fishing with me on Sat. night that Oct. weekend, better bring an extra Vex.3. I know where to buy beer also….

Dang, I think I got myself into something here…
As you know Joe, I’m not much of a negotiator. You and James will have me in the poor house before I hit dry land.
And Kooty, before you even start typing, I’m waaaay ahead of you buddy. You know where to get a few beers too. I’ll see you at the landing on Friday the 14th!
And Joe, I’ll see you on Saturday the 15th!
